Late last year saw the release of a quadcopter in Europe at a price we could afford 🙂
The new DJI Phantom is a one an all in one solution Quadcopter and comes Ready to Fly with an integrated flight control system which includes a GPS and a dedicated 2.4GHz transmitter.
The DJi Phantom is perfect for filming and its flight parameters and functions have been set up already so all you need to is charge the lipo battery and your ready to go!
It’s designed to be used for photography and can be linked with a GoPro camera. Here’s a sample of the Phantom in action:
Our favourite bit is the failsafe autopilot system . It’s awesome!  basically, in circumstances when the communication between the Main Controller and the transmitter is disconnected, the outputs of all command sticks from controller will go to the center position. And if the GPS signal is strong enough it will automatically trigger return to home and safe landing. Just like a homing pigeon!
